Your photo made me smile. To me, that's the way hotrods are supposed to be owned. I have a 1960 FB Holden sedan that gets used the same way.

That's a great pic of Bill! After just getting home from a visitation for a true gearhead legend, friend and a helluva guy from my hometown, I can't help but think about all the great friends I've made over the decades in this hobby. I'm not only smiling, I'm also...I'll let your collective minds fill in the blanks.

These two always make me smile. When I blew the 301” in my orange 3W, I pulled the 294” out of my “A” and stuck it in the 3W. These helpers are now 46 and 41 years old:

 

The headlights off that car are on my Vicky ... thank you Ted.

 

My 15 year old son with his first car. He's 50 now and still has the car. Makes me smile when I think of trying to talk his mom into letting him pay the $300 for the car.

 

My buddy's 32 and my 57 at a local watering hole.

 

I smile when I realize we both managed to finish our builds before retirement.
