So this Kaiser VS57 kinda followed me home the other day. Been doing a lot of homework on these lately and I've been all over the web and cannot for the life of me find a list of McCulloch bracket part numbers. Sadly John Erb is no longer with us but someone out there has to have a list of what brackets are for what applications. Even if I find out what this fits someone down the road could use the reference information as well.

The http://vs57.y-block.info/ site doesn't seem to exist anymore so I'm turning to the experts here.

New to me. Would think it would have to be for a high-volume product. Why do you think it wasn't for the Kaiser?

FWIW, pretty certain it's not Studebaker.

It would be great to have a list like that. I’ve been around the McCulloch/Paxton stuff with both VR, VS, and SN series over the last 20 years or so. I’ve never seen a list of the brackets, pulleys etc. from anyone. I’m pretty sure vs57 didn’t have one. But if you find one, please share it. I’ll pm you some details.

I suppose it could be for a kaiser but doesn't appear to be similar to the Kaiser ones I've seen online.

The seller indicated it was for an early hemi and I dont have any reason to doubt him but I can't find any part numbers or pics of those either. Looking at the stock timing cover and intake on my 331 I can't figure out how it would mount.

It is not for a chevy, I looked at my 56 and the bracket is a ch101. I ***ume the ch is for chevy, maybe the D on yours is for Dodge? red ram hemi maybe?

I was thinking the D might be for a Dodge as well but hoping someone out there might know for sure.

It's funny you sent that thread link, that whole set up John posted pics of is the very one that is sitting on my bench right now.

The VS57-YBlock brackets page was archived at Archive.org, but most of the photos are missing. There's no reference to a D-101, but the initial in the McCulloch part numbers do refer to the application, so Dodge is likely.

@MoePower you can bring it over and see if it lines up with any holes on the Dodge baby hemi I have.

Yes, Cam is my son. He is making a bracket/pully set up to mount the VS57 on a Ford Flathead. He reverse engineered an original bracket and made some improvements to design his version. I don't think he has any list of original part numbers. But maybe he knows who does? He is flathead37 here on the HAMB

Thanks guys! keep the info coming, even if its just bits and pieces its all part of the puzzle.
Nystrom was on my radar to call eventually, just as a point of information for the blowers in general.

Realized I forgot to update this. The D101 McCullouch bracket is for a low deck dodge hemi. I verified this on Mr Cheater's truck running a 241. Now to just reverse engineer it and fab a bracket to fit my 331 . . . . .

Check with Craig Conley at Paradise Wheel - https://paradisewheels.biz/super-chargers
He has the rights to the ball drive superchargers.
Jim Middlebrook was the R&D Manager at Paxton in the 80s when I loaned him some Ford brackets to have replicated. He owns Vortech Superchargers and uses the Paxton name on some of his centrifugal blowers.

Thanks for the tip! I'm sure I'll need to source a few items here and there. I'm running a Hot Heads front timing cover with a sbc water pump and a stock 54' wet intake, so the bracket will need to be a one off.

Thanks GLENNPM! Been reading through as much as I can get my hands on between the HAMB and other sites. I have somewhat of a plan formulated to make this work.
