I just got to the hotel, need to get some dinner, then I'll get the itinerary up and maybe a few pics. possibly video of the off road adventures, which was a lot of fun.

    day 2.

I'm traveling with a couple experienced guys who are doing the navigating, so I just follow along and they find the check points. It's fun!

This sounds like a lot of fun. Is fuel mileage a concern and is there ample higher grade fuel available?

It’s either auto correct or the Z is below the S. Pick one.

    Thanks for welcoming us!

Sometimes fuel availability is a problem, but we make it work. The Vette is great, gets 18 mpg

While you are standing on the corner there's a really good hotel close by. That is if you want to snooty steak. I had real good soup there. The Duke stayed there on several occasions, it's right beside the RR track.

We didn't make it to Williams. Our the depot. Finally stopped for food in Gallup at 3.

It warmed up enough to boil the gas in the carb at a stop so I'm going to open the hood every stop while it's kind of warm

...and you are at higher altitude....less atmospheric pressure and the gas is going to boil at a lower temperature...
Gallup is 6600' elevation and you still climb to the continental divide west of there....
