I'm digging the detail on the bed here.
That's one thing that a lot of these gloss over. The big padded covers kind of blob over the top, losing the detail while adding a bit of interior volume. This looks like it might be steel, with a strong break at the tailgate to bed area, the hinges (often added, but look real and functional here) the chains and the sharp edge of the bed tops. I like how the cover drops down between too. No real point to a tailgate, but it looks functional which is kind of the point of a T. Everything is pared down to just what's needed. I know some kits had a separate 'gate, while most are one piece. Also, it appears most OE '23s were all wood.

    Here's a 26 bed.

The guy in the driver’s seat looks a little like one of the Righteous Bros.

Often wondered, was this a "known" T in it's day or perhaps a local who answered the casting call? I'd like to know if the rest of it's as cool as it looks from the front

Those front wheels look a bit wide for those tires!

I don't have a lot of faith in motorcycle rims under the weight of a V8?

Great start for someone in the SW. I need to work on my current project, not buy another.

Couple things I noticed, the rear axle coilover brackets are just tacked, so expect the same for the panhard rod. Opening door and hinge, but not installed. Different front section on body. Don't recognise who does that. Front tie rod/Corvair/hairpins like Total.

Steve, Worked again for me. It would be a long tow to MA. Try CL Phoenix and search under Cars & Trucks for 1923.

Just how much narrower is the cowl on a '23 than on a '27? Thinking in terms of foot room, thanks.

In a quick search I found a '23 at 27 1/2" wide at the firewall and a '27 at 29". Those were some dimensions on fiberglass body builder websites so I wouldn't swear to micrometer accuracy.

The most crowded spot on a Hot Rod…and especially on a T. Every fraction of an inch counts.
    1. Engine/bell housing/transmission tunnel
    2. Steering box/steering column
    3. Exhaust header/engine pipe
    4. Brake pedal/brake linkage
    5. Clutch pedal/ linkage

Do you think that is a stretched body?

For sure the firewall is extended forward, sort of like some drag race altered bodies I've seen. But, usually they're modified in the bun panel section also for the slicks to tuck in. Like this.... https://classglassperformance.com/23 t alt.html

Jay, as Lynn said, the body is standard size but with an added section at the firewall forward.
I'd guesstimate it at 3-4 inches.
    Here's the ad body.
typical body from https://hotrodfiberglass.com which matches most other bodies, with different dash areas and this has both opening doors. Most have no door or only right side.
Note also the one in the ad has an additional lip around the sides and back. Both of these are not typical and I don't recall seeing them on other bare bodies. Extended or stretched bodies are usually longer either just behind the door area or a bit there and a bit in the cowl to try to retain the visual shape.
    Extended body from Spirit.

the guy who made the body for my project used to make bodies for total performance outta conn. but the mould he used for mine was an older one from an unknown source; looked a lot like an almquist to me in the details but who knows? anyway, off hand i don't have the spec but i recall comparing them to an original t body specs and they were super close within fractions mostly. the guy is in rhode island.
