Anyone have a used one in good shape? I was taking out a leaking heater valve and my plenum is in poor shape. New ones are available but I was hoping to find a good used one.

On the '59 they are something akin to paper mache. Mine was cracked from heat I'd say. I put it back together with Gorilla Tape and Glue. I have not run across any new ones.

Used ones I looked at were worse than mine. I should have jotted down the Ford part # while I had it out.

They are available for the 55-56 in either cardboard like the original or ABS plastic. I like the ABS idea but I'm not paying almost $300 for it. The cardboard one is around $170.

I have a complete heater system I removed from our 56 when I installed AC-heat. I’d like it all to go complete. I’ll get it down and photo that part if you would like but it will take a day or 2. I’d like $50 for all of it + shipping from California.

Who sells them? Mine should go the distance as it is. I did look for new ones at the time the car was stripped down. I did corner the market on mud dauber nests....

Carpenters has them in ABS for $165. There are other suppliers like T Bird Products too. The prices are all over the place on them.

I was thinking DEFROSTER plenum. Which is huge on a '59. Not the same thing and also the '59 heater box is very big.
