Technical Identify dropped axle

    I have a 4” dropped and drilled front axle with this embossing in the middle. Who can tell me who made this and quality. Thank you

    You could hang it on the wall and use it for a hat and coat rack, but don't hang any heavy things on it........:eek:

    That axle is such a piece of shit it could break hanging on the wall!

    I commend everyone for calling out the dangerous quality of the Hoffman axle. The market should eventually determine the manufacture and sale of this part. But even faster would be a massive personal injury lawsuit. Seeing as how they are still selling this part, I can only surmise that there has not been a catastrophic failure as of yet. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of this axle breaking?

    Several years ago Magnum had a bad batch of axles that broke and they did a commendable job of remending the situation. How has Hoffman continued to sell this axle?
