    Fellas,

I need a little help…. I tried to save a few bucks and bought carbs off of EBay. I didn’t realize the carbs had the “ball sockets” type connectors for the linkage. Does anyone have a photo of how they made this work? Any help would be appreciated.

You can pop them off of the shafts and use conventional clamp on throttle arms with holes in them.

  4. Great to see another Y block! So I guess that is a "truck" style water pump with the raised fan mount? Neat. I'm running the same manifold on my 292, not the best for performance but works until I can afford a better one.

My ACE hardware sell ball linkage ends with female threads. I threaded some rods. I believe some on the net sell double ended ones.

I tried to save a buck and the rods look like plastic. They are also not the typical round with flat edge shape.
