Hi, As I have an AOD transmission in my 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria, I need a specific Gear Shift indicator dial for this purpose ? I know that with some cars it is possible, but I do not know if there is any for 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria, if you know about it can you please let me know.
I installed an AOD in my '54 Ranch Wagon. @nascardave had a source for the indicator. Not sure if it would work in a '56 or if he still has a source but you could send him a PM to see.
When I installed the C6 in my 56 I went to a plastic sign guy - I marked where the gears were on the old one and took it to him and he produced a new one that fit right in with the proper gear locations. Cost me $30.
