Just north of Creed's place, around '77 it was an Acme for a while [I think], still there selling cars [I think again], don't drive by it much.

 

Bud Bryan built the roadster and was later owned by Julian Alvarez (RIP).

Yeah, the hoist is on a trolly (on an I-beam).

But...WHY ?

Reminds me very much of something that happened back when I worked at B&M (transmissions). Funny now, but NOT at the time.

Yea, I'm thinking that lift set up is a hard p*** for me.

It may have worked when that car was almost new. Can you imaging the noises and ***ociated pops and snaps the car would make in the lifting and setting it back down of that car today? Want to bet what the condition of the gl*** and door fit would be afterwards with that car today?

 

Reminds me of a 65 Ford we had on a old 2 post lift back about 1975 we went to lunch and rear post came down the front stayed up...........................
