Hi , can i use phosphoric acid in my oval gas tank ? I have one gallon. Do I need to dilute it and how long should i leave it sit ? I think i should be rotating it every 24 hours. I will appreciate any information. Thank you Jim T.

I had great results using muriatic acid an gravel on two 30's Allis Chalmers I did for a friend...
Obviously you need to be on point when doing, Poured it in with clean gravel, Rolled around/back forth..
    Didn't take long..
Then empty, I rinsed with water an lil soda, Then splashed some diesel fuel in to keep it from rusting, While getting ready for paint.
16 yrs. Later never a problem

I've used it full strength and just keep rotating to get all the areas. I use home depots prep and etch its like $17.00 a gallon by me. After its clean I've used the kbs coatings tank seal kit and it worked great.
