Glad he's ok. Typical of his generation that he went back to work. Not much point in stealing a cell phone these days

Let's be realistic. What kind of force would it take, to pull a phone from a 102 year old guys hand? Shaking my head....

This guy was already a legend in my mind. But taking a punch at 102 years old, shaking it off, and going back to work the same day? This guy is as hard as nails. Much respect to the Camfather.

And sadly some lawyer is biting at the bite to show "under privileged" this guy was and he didn't know any better with his upbringing and that he should be pity'd not prosecuted !...

It's a cultural as well as societal issue which began in the 70's. Another rule, or law or mandate
will not correct our course...very unfortunate and sad. Good luck, Isky.!

I got to hang around with him for an afternoon, a couple of years ago at 100 years old
I am so glad he is OK because his tribal knowledge is nothing short of remarkable

He is fortunate it did not end poorly for him. Could you imagine the loss of someone that influenced so many through the decades, lost to a punk thief over a cell phone?

When I was gearing up for the "camp over" swap meet last weekend in Portland, my wife asked if I was packed? In our house that only means one thing.

Honor our seniors. Honor our Veterans. We wouldn't be here, living the life we live and the hobby we enjoy, without them.

Every bit that those s***bags have. Why do you think they prey on the aged, weak and infirm?

The guy probably wanted a place to sleep for a few days, so getting a little jail time was fine. The piece of dog ****.

The Greatest Generation and Isky proved it on so many different levels. Guy should thank his lucky stars he wasn’t from around here. Our coroner has a creative mind. And our Sheriff understands. I can promise you every cruiser /and official has a shovel and they know the way to Tera Lingua.

    Any town USA…..
I believe there are more homeless in freebeeornia than anywhere else because of the weather. If we were like AZ and could “open carry with no permit” all this **** would stop….
No tellin if your faster on the draw than the other guy. My “jury of peers” would be ALL who open carry.

Glad to see he was ok. Says a lot about his character and likely of that generation. Literally rolled with the punches and goes straight back to work. My late wife’s grandmother turns 100 in a few weeks. Still lives on her own. She started working at age 5 helping out her mother in the lumber camps. We’re just not made the same these days…
