Hi all! I've been browsing around here for awhile. I figured I should do a intro. First off, there's a ton of sick rides and great info on here. Thanks everyone for all that. Second I'm a 23 y/o body man that works at a high quality body shop in a small town in wisconsin. I started my first project right out of body school. A 1948 Ford F-1. Its been a long time coming (4 years) but I'm finally finishing the project. It's getting a pearl orange paint job with a white interior. I have the box completely painted and assembled along with the frame blasted, painted and plumbed, ready for the cab and front sheet metal. I drove it to St. Paul for the annual Back to the 50's car show last year, worked out a few bugs, and now its finally coming together. Maybe some of you remember the multi-colored one drivin around. So about 2 months ago I purchased a 31 Tudor from [rufusranch]. Visiting this site has got me pumped up about doing a sweet traditional. Right now I'm planning on doing a 60's stlye rod. Channeled with no chop. I did the street rod thing with the truck, so I'm kinda new to the traditional stuff. So I'm sure I will have a bunch of questions. Like should I use the original frame or just build one from scratch?? (by the way, are there any good write ups on this) Here, you can visit all my pics http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v203/midwestmuzikk/ Thanks again Matt
JEEBUS! Whats it take for a guy to get a reply around here? I've noticed you basically get a lot of shit if you dont post an introduction. But it doesnt seem like an intro does much??? Bye all, hope everyone's having a good night.
Welcome aboard. Don't expect many replies from the intro, but we all know that you have done one. It's a good first step. Doc.
