History San Antonio "Rebels" HR club ..early 50's.. little history for anyone interested.

Talked to my dad this evening about the club. There were 4 "founding members"...Larry Cannon (my dad) , Gary Tettleton, Larry Miller and Bobby Wolf. Of course the membership grew. My dad designed the original plate. My dad Gary and Bobby are still alive. Larry Miller has since p***ed. My dad and Gary went to Brackenridge HS and Larry and Bobby went to Central Catholic. There had been a post late 2016 and somebody mentioned something about the last surviving member. There are a couple more still kick'n lol. next club to pop up was the Roadrunners and then the Gear Grinders. My dad is going to dig some old pics I will try and post for anybody interested. little San Antonio history.

Would love to see any old pics, and this coming from an old CCHS grad & I bet your Dad remembers hanging out at the Bun N'Barrell or George's Drive Inn....

 

yes he has some crazy stories lol. I will get with him when i get back in town. I can't wait to see the old pics myself
