I truly understand the importance of motivation and the results of lack of it. :( :D

I also just found your build tread, very good reading, many ‘small’ issues foto’ed and explained, and fantastic the way you got the knowledge from fellow Hambers when needed.
All very useful for building my next project, I hope you continue with your inspiring do***entation of the build.
    Keep up the good work!

  6. Thank you so much!! Trying to give back a little after learning so much on this forum. It takes a village to build these cars. I don't know how builders gleaned information 20 years or more ago. We have thee forums and YouTube and so many online resources. People actually had to learn first hand from someone that knew how to do a task. Chasing down parts is the same scenario. Jump on the HAMB, eBay, Amazon or parts suppliers now. So much harder back in the day. I feel somewhat spoiled.

    Thanks,

    Brian

Every town had several wrecking yards filled with parts. Many towns had drag strips and oval tracks and LOTS of guys raced. The knowledge was out there. There were lots of jobs for young guys in wrecking yards, shops, gas stations, parts houses, & machine shops. You had to try not to learn it.
