Do radials suck? 4. What type of suspension does Moriarty hate the most? 5. Should all EFI systems be thrown in the trash? 6. Did GM engineers really design the SBC to fit perfectly in an early Ford engine bay? 7. True or False: Stock 32 Fords are the only acceptable use of 18" wheels. Ya know, stuff like that...
if there isn't, there should be a way to zap their hard drive or damage their system so any future attempts at this would be thwarted
The Australian Ozrodders Forum asks 3 questions that only an Australian car guy or gal would know. If you can't answer the questions correctly you don't get it. We haven't had a single spam item in 3 years.
When it gets like that we Mod's ping Ryan and he Frankenstein's the Volt Meter. The Spam stuff is stupid, accomplishes nothing.
AI spamming i recon. Its infesting all of social media. AI can answer questions so that does not work any more. Only partial solution is maybe to restrict the number of threads to one that a newbee can post initially or the first couple of threads has to be moderator approved before accepting.
I'm sure it's manageable for the size of the OZ forum. The HAMB has 2-300,000 plus members so that's not as easy. I can't see that as being a filter to join the HAMB. But more power to you if it works for the OZ forum.

Cob has it right, it makes a difference how big you are in the electronic sea. My forum, link in signature below, is still very small compared to the HAMB. Really, not even a minnow where the HAMB is the killer whale. We’ve only had one spammer post in Chinese so far, likely because we haven’t been discovered floating around in the electronic seas. But like I told Moriarity, it doesn’t matter to me if it doesn’t get very big, it’s giving a spot for folks whose stuff doesn’t quite fit here to show off . But don’t come to my house to badmouth Ryan’s, not gonna put up with that!
