Hot Rods 1957 Chev Gasser in WA

Anyone recognize this ‘57?

Saw it at a cool bar in Shelton (Bobs Tavern).

I was picking up a 1954 Ford parts car, and stopped for a frosty beverage…

 

The Towel city decal makes me wonder if it isn't a more recent patina build rather than an old gasser that was actually raced in the PNW.
I know that I have never seen it at any event that I was at in the past 46 years here in the state.

 

Happy to see a random gasser… almost went back into the bar and yelled: “Who’s got the ‘57 Chev Gasser”?

 

Shelton is the place. Where or not the car is from there? I'll ask next time I'm in town.
