shoebox progress pics

    I got the box into the garage finally a week ago. last weekend tore out the interior, removed all gl*** and trim and started grinding. here's some pics from the other night. its all ready for a the chop, but until i get the buds over for a couple days of that, bbqing, and drinking, I'll be continuing grinding, getting under the hood cleaned out (no engine or ******), making patch panels, and looking for an engine (not an sbc).

    Nice start.

    How about sticking a Man o war 427 SBF in it,500 hp, but dressing it to look like a bone stock '62 260 ,painted valve covers,stock air cleaner and all.

    thats what id love to do with mine.......

    thanks, sorry, i lost this thread! hahah. actually, i have a 62 cadillac 390 im putting in. so she'll be a fordillac when done. not sure on the chop specs yet, but thinking 5-6 inches but that could change.
