I want to lower the 39 Poncho 2” but can not find lowering blocks that are 2” wide. Anyone have a reference? I’ll also probably be needing pinion shims also, but can likely trim a wider set for those.

I know Nostalgia Sid's Dropped Axles www.droppedaxles.com keeps them in stock but suspect others do as well. Pretty sure he also has narrow shims. That is where I get mine if I don't just build stuff. I don't see them on the website necessarily, but know he keeps them. I would just call 405-416-3080. You won't find better folks to deal with.

Make em? 2x2 aluminium stock. Drill, tap and Allen bolt to provide stud. Drill to provide hole. That's what I do.

Or heavy walled square steel tube works. Cheaper and more readily available.

Easy to do. I always cap the ends when I make them

That's the way I made them. Drill a small 1/4" hole clear through, then open one side up for locating hole, and drill and tap for Allen cap screw on the other side. I also weld a plate on each end just to close them up.

I made 1 3/4" wide lowering blocks for my car. 2" blocks would be way easier.

I just go to the steel yard and dig through the drop bin for steel square tube, put a 1/4" bolt through the center for a centering pin and call it a day. Ubolts are cheap on ebay.

Make them. You can also set your differential forward or back a little if needed .
