This was on "HorsePower TV" this past weekend (I missed it). They are building a "Rat Rod" and interviewed a couple of people at the Nats concerning the new craze :)

They also filmed "Buckshot", he was in several shots.

I downloaded the entire episode from Itunes for $1.99.

Denise, I'm sure that you also know this ugly son of a ....

We missed it...oops. Hope it will be on again. We have made fun of him so bad since that interview but I know he his pretty proud. It all came about rather strangely...
Youngbuck was driving the truck down the road with me in the passenger seat and Matt and a friend of ours, Nick, in the back. We were literally forced to the side of the road by an NSRA golf cart. uh oh, now what ridiculous rule did we break? Turns out they were escorting the guys from horsepower tv around looking for "rat rods" because they were going to build one on the show. They took us to the middle of the big grassy field (not far from the RRT trailer) and interviewed Matt for what seemed like an eternity in the burning 1000 degree hot sun. We kept doing stupid things behind the camera trying to get him to laugh. Good time. Hope it is on again so I can tivo it.

You have to have the newest version of Itunes installed on your computer, and a valid account. The software is free, just click on "Download" on the Itunes website.

Once you have it installed, you fire it up, setup your account, and navigate to tv shows, by network, spike, horsepower tv.

The file is large, over 200MB, and you have to have a fairly new PC to view it without constant pauses.

I would burn it to a CD for ya, but it is a protected file that can only be viewed by the account that purchased it.

    Good luck :)

I sooo can't wait to get his autograph on my new Rodders Digest. He's sooo dreamy with his "Not-So-Mega Megaphones"

Klingers interview wasn't too bad. Better than I would have been when you stick camara in my face. I'm usually like "Whoa a camara? Here hold my beer and watch this!"

The worst part is that truck will be forever labeled a rat rod. For crying outloud it was picked for a rat rod show! I always correct people that call it that but I guess it is a lost cause now. So be it. Rat rod, traditional rod, hot rod, whatever...it is still a blast to drive!

That's funny we told Joe Elmore, the host, that we really didn't appreciate the term "Rat Rod". We explained to him that they were just hot rods.

    He musta not got it.

That truck is more dependable and runs better than many streetrods I have ever seen. Hell, it'll do 85-90 with no problem with that overdrived driveshaft. It has more money welded in the holes of the firewall than the whole things worth. :) I think we started calling it a rat truck when we began building it.
But it is getting alittle ratty with that missing headlight lost during the Nationals. :)
