This looks like a 1938 or 1939 of some sort
    Body mounted tail-lites
    3 window

    Any idea what this is?
    Thanks

could use a better scan of the picture, but even that might not help much.

36 buick was a 3 window with a split rear gl***, similar bumper guards, etc.

Looks more 36ish than 39, gm car would 3 windows in 36 not in 39.

squirrel, I think you are damn close if not right on it. Because the door is open makes it harder to catch the lines. I didn't even look at split rear window. I didn't think of Chrysler etc. because I thought they had the spare tire up front. I ***umed the tail-lites were body mounted which cancels out a bunch of cars. It looks like there's a trunk handle too. This will on my mind for days now..... Thank you all

Not a Chrysler product. The split rear window pretty much kills off that possibility. Also, the Chrysler products of that era had a much longer rear deck lid, they came down to nearly the back bumper.

My 1st thought was it was from the GM car line.

The tail-lites don't cast a shadow of any brackets

35 Olds, but for the suicide doors

My first thought was Chev 38 but the lack of detail, it got strange

definitely 1936 lines from evidence shown
