Who’s going???? I think I can make this year.

 

I make it pretty much every year but may not make it this year. I have to drive to Minnesota that Sunday and am behind on about everything right now it seems.

 

I will be there. Best get together of the year.

First time in many years we won’t make it, hope you have great weather and I’m sure a good time!

 

are there any shop parties on sat night? If not where do most of the cars guys go on Sat night?

 

The car guys pretty much hang out at the hotels on Saturday night. Parking lots are full of folks just hanging out with friends.

 

This will be the first time in about 10 years that I won't be going. Have fun!

The Fairfield Inn in Bartlesville is one of the host hotels, always a bunch of folks hanging out in the parking lot on both Friday and Saturday nights.

 

Man! You guys are going to be missed!

The Myers Entourage begins the first wave into town tomorrow afternoon. I'm bringing something new this year.

 

And I was looking forward to seeing the new addition!

 

Me too! I suppose I have seen it before, but didn't know the owner well enough to ask for a ride or something.

 

I’m hoping to be there next year. I’ll live a lot closer and my car will be done-ish.

 

Since I likely won't make this show Saturday to see folks and some cool hot rods and customs, I may just have to go see Moriarity while I am in Minnesota...

 

Something doesn't feel right in the world when I am not headed toward Dewey about now...

 

And I know I'll miss all of you, hope you have a great time and hope someone posts pics!

 

Looks like I can’t make it this year. Have a ton of work to do before having minor surgery next week ( not a bad thing). It’s on my to do list though.

 

I've tried for the last 2 yrs to make it but always something coming up. With my kids grown and most things paid off now it seems like I'd have more time not less !

But now raising a 7 yr old granddaughter, her schooling and extra curricular activities come before mine! And don't get me started on the wife !! Hahaha....

...next year.....holding my breath... face turning blue....

Another great SK500! The predicted rain never happened and lots of cool cars to be seen.

 

Didnt go until Saturday morning and only hit 4 different showers on the way from KC area to Bartlesville. No rain Saturday but Mick cancelled Sunday due to rain forecast all day. Drove home in rain all the way. I know its a crummy
Pic but Im not much of a photographer especially driving in rain. You cant tell but the car in front of me is a 58 Chevy Yeoman wagon, then in front of him a chopped merc, then a 32 roadster kicking up rooster tails. Had a 53 Ford F100 behind me all running around 75. Although several cancellations because of the weather there was still a good turnout. Sorry I didnt take any pics at the show.

 

I was there and think it was a very good turn out, lots of nice cars.
