I am working on a ‘37 Hudson pickup and want to stay towards period correct rubber floor covering versus carpet. At present the rubber reproduction is not available. Where can I purchase rubber floor covering to cut and fit myself? Thanks in advance for the replies.

I ordered some rubber mat from a company named ZORO. for my deuce pickup floor. The first roll I ordered was to thin so I tried to return it and they refunded my money to Pay Pal along with a note to do what I wanted with the roll. I reordered another roll that is thicker, hope fully it will work?
There is a company close to me that deals in rubber products, that sell it off the roll, by the square foot. The had grained and with fine ribs, I chose the grained for my COE, because small pebbles are hard sweep out of the ribs.
McMaster sells LOT of antique car parts and has no idea they do it. A friend used their matting, cut it to fit and power sanded the edges to bevel like original. Really looks good.

My 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac (small pickup) came with a rubber floor mat. It is a pebbled finish and has floor mats that sit on top of it. I can clean the truck with a leaf blower instead of a vacuum. LOL. Hit the salvage yard. It looks really durable.

I bought this 1940 ford rubber flooring without holes cut in it for pedals or column. I trimmed it to fit my PU and I love it.

I would suggest McMaster Carr as an option as well. If they don't have it listed somewhere in their catalog, there's a good chance nobody makes it.
Look at Bandit Billy s Post #18 You can see the lower part of his door is 'upholstered' using the front surface of a fender guitar amp head unit, and the lower part of the kick panel is fender amp speaker covering fabric. I built the "amps" with tweeters, mids and crossovers, there are amps and a sub under the seat. Yes, the knobs and lights on the driver's door amp all work. All authentic fender parts used including toile, cloth and corner bumpers. And fender amp handles for door pulls while I was at it. It is why I used the rubber floor rather than carpet, more of a "roadie" look. My daughter is currently sewing up black German square weave floor mats for it as the black rubber floor gets dirty awful easy.
I’ve used the pebbled 1/8” thick Rubber-Cal on a bunch of cars. Always looks the part and holds up well.
Big box stores usually sell ribbed rubber by the roll, designed for use as hallway runners or on stair steps. It does only come in limited widths so it may or may not work for your application, but it's worth checking out.
