What are you looking for ?
I keep tabs on valve covers, might know of some if I knew what you're looking for.

I want the one you polished. They would look great on my next project.
    Looking for those exact ones.
I found them just haven't bought them. 400268370_7226255957398628_6099149759845189118_n.jpg

I do the gravity bleed all the time, if it fails I have a pedal holder then just open the bleeder push the pedal down hold it to the floor go close the bleeder and repeat.

Replaced aluminum alternator mount that failed with new all steel bracket from Speedway on my 29 Model A CC PU.

  5. I've been thinking about building those valve covers for 5 yrs, definitely not for sale.
I can tell you where I got the breathers if you want to make your own but finding valve covers with the pcv hole not knocked out is getting a little harder.

I found the breathers also. A lot of money and time. Sometime this fall I will buy them. Spend the winter polishing .

IMG_1326.jpeg Now that I got the engine broke in, I have to get it drivable. 5 years sitting was hell on my brakes, did the fronts today, shooting for inspection of the back Friday.

  9. I had to pull the starter from the rambler 327. Rumor was they are a bitch to pull, maybe on your back with a bumper jack but not bad in my garage:D off to the rebuild shop after work today. We’re lucky to have a local shop that rebuilds starters and alternators. There’s not much of that kind of thing left around here.

Many, many thanks to HAMBer @hrm2k !
He hooked me up with a "sbc kit" last year. Not the starter kit but the advanced modeler kit. With engine stand. Ran it in today, finally! That tach needle doesn't zero without power. Not running in picture, with zero oil pressure!

The '55 HT project. It's so close to moving under its own power! Helpful to be able to move things around without a winch. Floors next, at some point, I guess I could actually start a build thread on it.
Lloyd, that Chevelle was at Lloydfest, right?

Pulled out one of the leaking cylinder from my lift. Guess I'm getting the hydraulic cylinder repair busyness.

Well, I (we) have gotten one big project done!
My sister, my wife, and I have been working on getting Mom's house on the market since early March. Mom is now in an assisted care facility, but her and dad (he passed away 10 years ago) built the house in 1968 and she has lived there since. We have been working there 3-4 days a week, and 3-4 (or more) hours each of those days getting things cleared out. Clearing out 50+ years of memories isn't fun, nor is it easy, but we got the job done.

We finally got the house on the market on Thursday, the goal was to get as much as we could, but to also move the house as fast as possible. It was scheduled for an open house for today (Sunday). There was a house showing Friday, and they made an offer, we counteroffered, and we have an agreed contract 48 hours after listing it! We were within $2,500 of the asking price with no conditions! That was a big win for us! Closing will be in 30 days or less.

Now maybe I can do a few minor catch up things on my truck, and get back to real life.

Gene - Happy that you reached a goal. That had to be a draining experience. Kind of like seeing life in reverse.
