My neighbor across the street '55 two door. This was his dad's daily driver and the car they would use to go on vacations. They lived in Illinois along the Mississippi and after his dad p***ed he brought the car home to keep. There was so much rust you'd be hard pressed to lock a cat in it but it turned out nice after the resto. Its finished now but I don't have a current pic.

Yep, he had special trim pieces made from originals for that look.

 

Sure would like to have those wheels

 

Spray paint a set aluminum ones with Dupli-Color Hot Rod Primer.....

 

Boy, there sure were a lot of hood scoop styles and positioning going on in the 60's!
