Anyone in the Gold Coast/ Brisbane area, or anywhere else for that matter? I'm coming to the G.C. for the race in a couple of weeks, anything interesting going on around then?
Yeah, my mother lives there! Believe me, there will be people everywhere, in all states of mind and body. Apart from the race, what counts as interesting? I know some rodders up that way.
X38, I'm working at the race and have done for many years so I know what you mean about people being everywhere, the attendance goes up each year. We fly in from the States and have Tuesday off, we will be unloading the cars and freight Wednesday before we get to work properly on Thursday. I was curious to see if there were any HAMB types in the area that might want to drink beer and talk shite in someones shop full of projects...

I think the Royal Family is more popular in the US than it is here - I don't know why you Aussies carry on with it. X38 - there is a Zoo in Chester. I'm just a mile from it. I go regularly - every 20 years or so....

But by geeze I would rather live here than an overpopulated little island that its only major victory in the same time frame was to destroy the lives of so many inocent people around the world in the name of collinisation.
