  2. That's one beautiful coupe! Its impressive that he was able to get it that low with what looks like an undropped Model A axle.

I would like to see a shot of the frame... Almost looks like a massive Z just past the firewall.

Great write-up. Figured you'd get a kick out of this shot, @Ryan.

Looks to me like it was channeled quite a bit. Th picture with the door open shows a lot of door jam between the floor and the rocker.

Can you imagine, pulling your wicked 34 coupe with the best custom ever? Buddy O. and the Sacramento gang ruled! What a great picture Joey.

Thanks Ryan. I love it when you wax poetic.
    The story is tragic.
    Tho' the reality of racing.

I have a friend whose last name is Ohanian, I had to do a double take with my blurry eyes this morning. My friend is Armenian
Must have created quite the stir back then.

  11. I’m a little confused by the ending too. It fell off some jack stands and that was the end of it?

  13. According to Gene Winfield, which is recorded in his book, “The Legendary Custom Cars and Hot Rods of Gene Winfield”, by David Grant. Buddy’s 34 Ford 3-window was chopped by Dick Bertolucci and yes, it was campaigned by fellow Century Toppers Automobile Club member, Orvel “Speed” Reichert. A familiar photograph of the timeless coupe is on page 49 with friend Dan Bailey standing by the opened door.
