    Customer agreed to arrange shipping. Thank God. Now his shipper wants fireproof box and invoice to prove crate material is fireproof. I advised , "Get a new shipper." 2024-05-10 09.55.05-2.jpg

    I'd say that that shipper that wants the fire proof box is far more used to shipping small gas engines or gas powered units with gas tanks attached. That rather than an engine with no gas tank, no battery and a dry carb if it has a carb at all in a well constructed crate.

    Whenever I ship something like a crankshaft overseas, I find someone with a vehicle being shipped to the same local.... they put it in the trunk or rear floorboard

    Could it be possible to find a small truck going to the same local ??

    Try Vince at ‘bits for brits’ ,Russ at ‘r and r hot rod parts’ or Dave at ‘farm fresh Chevy parts’ in uk. All have regular containers coming over

    Looks like the shipping deal is settled. [ $1,500.00 USD ] I have advised the buyer to look up you guys sugestions next time shipping from the US to the UK. A great big thank you.
