    Back in the day when you would cruise during the week and show it on the weekends. 519438884_ce710501c5_c.jpg 519484627_dbd1eb54b1_c.jpg

  7. I enjoy the GM barges this culture seeks. The factory custom school.

    No matter what, where, or when...

  17. Smart assed comment in 3 2 1...
    It's almost like the engineers at the manufacturer knew what they were doing when they designed a stock suspension.

    Being Serious it's sort of a pick your poison situation where you have 5 options when it comes to lowering a vehicle and 4 of them have a lot of drawbacks

    1) leave the car stock;
    Cons: it's boring looking
    Pros: it's definitely reliable and usually has a fairly decent ride in stock form,
    doesn't eat tires when set up correctly,
    Goes over bumps potholes and driveways pretty much flawlessly, relatively quiet usually without squeaks or rattles as long as the components are in good shape

    2) statically drop a car (by heating or cutting, clamping or using blocks on springs);
    Cons: it's pretty hard to drive because driveways and speed bumps exist along with potholes.
    Depending on the car can have a terrible ride.
    May bounce going down the road,
    The hot rod crowd will generally laugh at you
    Pro: looks as cool as a snow covered pine tree,
    depending on the car can ride almost as good as stock,
    The mini truck crowd will give you props and say your ride looks badass

    4) hydraulics on a car;
    cons: they tend to ride pretty bad even ones with all the bits that are supposed to make them ride decent they still have a fairly lousy ride,
    Really intricate systems take up a ton of space leaving little trunk space for cerveza coolers,
    need lots of power to run them correctly so two or three alternators are not uncommon,
    My mother will laugh at you because your car bounces going down the road
    Street gang members may ask you where you are from and you could possibly get shot,
    Street beat cops may racially profile you as a gang member and pull you over for no reason,
    May have catastrophic failure without warning potentially leaving your car demobilized
    Pros: can cooler then an Antarctic winter,
    Suspension is adjustable allowing you to drive the vehicle over speed bumps driveways and potholes,
    Vehicle if set up correctly can lift one tire off the ground without a floor jack makes for changing cool Astro Supremes or those ugly 13-in wire wheels easy, or in the case of Houston Texas area makes the obscene swagger Wheels easy to change.
    goes up and down extremely quick almost instantaneous,
    street cred with certain gang members especially if you are older they may consider you OG.
    4)airbags;
    Cons: air leaks are common,
    bag failures are common,
    Air compressors are generally noisy,
    High pressure compressed gas tanks can be costly to fill up and it's worse if you play with the car going up and down a lot,
    Air compressor tanks take up valuable real estate either in the trunk,
    slower to fill up (unless on some kind of compressed gas),
    My mother could possibly laugh at your car.
    Vehicle will feel like it is wallowing under certain conditions,
    May have catastrophic failure with absolutely no warning leaving your car demobilized,
    Traditional hot rodders will shake their heads in disgust
    Pros: suspension is adjustable,
    Vehicle has a decent ride generally speaking,
    Relatively simple to maintain,
    Looks cooler then a frozen hiker on Mount Everest
    Mini truckers, bros, custom car guys will you constantly compliment your car,
    suspension is adjustable so speed bumps potholes and driveways are not generally an issue
    5) wore out springs;
    Cons: ride height may not be same in all four corners of the vehicle,
    Squeaks and rattles are common, because uneven tire wear, street beat cops may pull you over thinking you are a drug addict or homeless,
    Costly to maintain related parts that may wear out prematurely because of bad springs,
    Pros: wore else springs generally lower the vehicle,
    There is no maintenance cost to the springs,
    can park the car in worst neighborhood and it generally will not get broke into,
    gang members will leave you alone because you look like you live in their 'hood, vehicle bottom out over speed bumps and driveways but it's blatantly obvious the owner doesn't care
