I'm going to ask what might be a dumb question, but here goes: why are your rear wheel cylinders on the bottom of your backing plates?
Backing plates are upside down first because model a rear end. I’m not going into detail of that. If you done know google. Also they are Lincoln backing plates. I would have clocked the backing plate to miss the spring perch but unlike the ford backing plates you can’t. Third. SS327 . The wheel cylinders are positioned correctly. Bleeder at the top. This has been done many times on here guys. I don’t know how some are shocked at what is being done.
You did adjust the top (bottom on your rear brakes) locating stud to optimize the shoe’s up-down positioning, right?
Yes. As Boling bros stated in their instructions. I got a couple new residual valves. Changing out the rear one first because I’m thinking since I had to adjust the pedal rod pushing on the mc a tad it is not holding the 10psi pressure to rears. I did a few up and downs on my road and it stops better than before. So we’ll see
