Hello Hambers ,just wanted You ALL to know if you didn't already .the Edelbrock 1721 fuel pump which has been REDESIGNED and NOW looks like many other pumps ( Holley ,Quickfuel etc....) has the same issues as the Holley ,Quickfuel etc.. as that the inlet / out ports are close to each other. The pump can be dis***embled & the " whole" bottom can be turned( clocked) in a 360 degree . BUT YOU CANNOT separate the VERY BOTTOM ( pump looks like there is 3 sections) to put inlet & outlet 180 degrees out from one another ( LIKE THE OLD EDELBROCK 1721 ( which is redesigned) .YOU CAN GET THE "OLD" STYLE EDELBROCK PUMP BY PURCHASING A " JEGS # 15969 " FUEL PUMP .THIS PUMP IS DESIGNED EXACTLY LIKE THE OLD EDELBROCK 1721 WITH INLET & OUTLET PORTS 180 DEGREES FROM EACH OTHER IF YOU NEED THIS FOR FITTMENT . JUST A HEADS UP . THANKS & HOPE IT HELPS . IT MAY HAVE A BACK ORDER SO IF YOU NEED GUESSING GET THE ORDER IN .

Yes ,I talked to them and that's what they told me .I was able to find a NEW one being sold on facebook marketplace . Drove 45min & got it , bailed me out . So try other avenues . I didn't see any reseal kits for the Jegs 15969 either . WISH they sold em ,I'd reseal my old edelbrock 1721 & keep a spare seal set for future .Good luck , hopefully Jegs get more in .

NOT EVEN CLOSE! the Carter M6900 looks JUST LIKE the New Edelbrock 1721 , the 30-350QFT Quickfuel fuel pumps . The " OLD original" Edelbrock 1721 looks like the JEGS 15969 WHICH HAVE INLET & OUTLET 180 degrees from each other .the Carter M6900 , NEW STYLE Edelbrock 1721 & Quickfuel 30-350qft ALL have inlet & outlet close to each other & CANNOT be separated due to valve to gasket location inside . There are many other brand names that look like these also which is why I made the statement on another post that it looks like fuel pumps are being built like compressors .Compressors look to ALL be made by the same manufacturer ( all look identical except color & name) BUT Snap on , Husky , Campbell ,Ingersoll paint them their color with their Name on it . Look up sbc fuel pump images . They mostly look the same IMO .First 2 are old 1721 edelbrock & new Jegs 15969 . The last 2 are New 1721 edelbrock & 30-350qft quickfuel ,which holley & Carter both look like . The Bottom bowls of NEW sbc fuel pumps can't be 180 out . Unless you buy jegs15969 .IMO
