Technical Rear axle identification

    I believe I have a 8" Ford. But I can't find anything in pictures of this wheel end setup. Interesting enough the third member has a modern style flat flange instead of a yolk. Center section definitely looks 8". Trying to figure out what I need to look up brakes.

    Not an 8” Ford I’ve ever seen. At least what we know as an 8”…..

    Looks like a 30's Mopar to me.

    Same thought I have, it's a very odd one that I haven't ran across. Toyota maybe? It was under an old 30. Body I bought for parts

    It’s definitely Mopar. Just not sure the year. Probably the year of the body you bought.

    After being able to refine a little bit on the search. It appears it's Chrysler/DeSoto up to about 48. Thanks for the help, I would have never figured this out
