Home Shop Machinist & Machinist's Workshop

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Richard D, Oct 11, 2006.

  1. Anybody subscribe to either Home Shop Machinist or Machinist's Workshop by Village Press? I have for years. Both are excellent publications, not specifically for trad. rods, but techniques that can definitely apply, and for anybody that appreciates awesome metalwork, esp. stuff you can do yourself. Check them out on the web.

No. But I have been meaning to ask questions to on the good ole HAMB about helical gears and AutoCAD....

...anyone know a good LISP routine - or where I could find an acurate one?

The web can furnish us with so much good stuff, but on issues like machining and mechanically sound parts - I am weary to trust the web...

(PSSTTT- This would be a good question for the Garage Journal. *hint*)

Just subscriber to both 2 weeks ago. I didn't know which one would be the most beneficial, so purchased both. Can't wait to get my first copy in the mail. I picked up a copy of Home Shop Machinist at the book store and was hooked. Great magazine..[IMG]
