Both Petersen Publishing and Argus Publishing used to put out "annuals" featuring a specific cl***. Can you imagine doing a 2024 'Funny Car Pictorial' magazine today? I can't.

**** Harrell's team in 1969. He was one of the first to utilize a tractor-trailer rig to get around, and he won the AHRA funny car ***le in this car (he was pissed at NHRA and swore that he'd never run with that group). The COPO S/S car I believe is now owned by Porterfield (I could be wrong). I used to ride my bike down to his Hickman Mills (KCMO) shop to peek in the doors and listen to them working on all the cars.
