I ran across a 28 Chevrolet Cabriolet its all there except the roof. Good Patina. They are asking 2K for it. Dont want to jump into it to quick. I know its not an A, but it looks pretty cool. There are none on eGay so I dont know if they are "rare" or not sought after. Thanks. Toby.

My Dad bought one 15 years ago, all there but dis***embled and basicly no rust for $800. It's still dis***embled, but has a few of the basics ready (Frame, motor mounts, blasted body....) It's all there, just needs put together. Last time he started talking about selling it, he was figuring around $4k for it, with motor and ****** (350 / 350). I was going to buy it about 6 years ago for $3500, but he changed his mind at the last minute..... If you are considering buying it, look real close to make sure almost everything you want (fenders / trim / etc.) is there, parts are not available. Some stuff from other makes will work, but requires modifications. Look at the body real close where the wood touches metal (doors especially), I think alot of these cars rusted inside out.... You may as well ***ume that all of the wood needs replaced with new wood or tubing, which is time consuming, but not too impossible with a few medium-grade skills and equipment....

    hope this helps....

I'd say that if its solid and has a lot of pieces, go for it. A late 20's anything cabrilet has to be worth that, provided that its good enough.

Its worth sending to my house if your not interested...............just kidding, it would just depend on the kind of shape that its in. Remember that the chevys are all wood unlike the fords and either require a expensive wood kit or using metal inside to replace the rotten wood. I got a chevy because everyone else drives a ford. It's really just what you are willing to pay, people who dont know will look at it and say " thats a cool '32 ford" anyways..........
