Event Coverage Crap I seen today

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by anthony myrick, May 18, 2024.

  1. My favorite ride yesterday
My wife looked at me strange when I gave her that answer when she asked yesterday.
    Hers was the pink roadster.
These pics don’t do service to the quality of builds there yesterday. We got there late, missed several cars.
My favorite doesn’t have to be the best built. But out of all the rides there, this would be the one I’d like to cruise or possibly build similar.

That Merc is stunning! The 41 Stude tail lights turned sideways is different.

  4. Thank you. :)

Ugly windshield. Oh so popular with the Buy it and Bolt it crowd.

    Great pictures Anthony..........Thanks.

If you posted these in the "Off Topic" forum, you could have included some of the ones like that Plymouth wagon in the background. No chance of getting deleted that way, and it makes the "purists" come over to the dark side and mingle..............kicking and screaming, but mingling. :D Just put a blurb on the traditional site telling people to look on the "Off Topic" site for viewing.......at their own risk of course. :p

Thanks for the "crap" Anthony. ;) I appreciate you posting!

  15. I did post some OT ones in the OT side.
Funny part is some might be OT for the OT forum. Grey area which one they fit. So I tossed em in the OT
One of the 32s posted here, the more I look at it needs switched over maybe. Has black painted wheels with the holes in em.
    Who knows

As @anthony myrick would say. I'd drive it.

  17. I’ll remove that one.
But, if we’re completely honest, probably only 5% of cars at a show are technically fit for the main forum.
That’s cool. It’s designed that way.
But the OT side is interesting.
By some of the input from members, about only 10-15% of cars you see would be fit for the OT side.
That extra 5-10% are still grey beards for the most part.
Not exactly attracting a younger audience that way. Maybe just an avenue for current guys to post OT rides they have.
Not much growth of influence happening that way.
Not my yard or football though

Thanks for the pics and heads up on the OT forum. Rarely get time on here to really look around and didn't even now it existed. Agree on the taildragger being pretty dang sweet.

Perfect lighting. Credit to the photographer, and to the builders of those hotrods.
