Well I got our new board up, I tried following directions on how to transfer the old board to a new server through a Mysql query but it won't work for some reason. Looks like we lost all our threads... at least the board is now working. http://www.losboulevardos.com/phpBB2/index.php you guys are going to have to sign up again.
Do you have access to the old board? I have successfully backed up mine through the control panel/management interface/whatever they call it and restored it to another site in order to move it. Of course, my host has been down for a WEEK as of today! Slonaker EDIT: BTW, it looks good! Not the ****py default them I am using.
I tried and it ****ed up, so I'm scared to do it again. I had to delete the whole folder and re install it again
Try restoring the old board by going to the control panel.. hit ALT + F9. A menu should pop up. Selct the ALTERNATE CONFIGURATION. When thet menu comes up you should choose the SQL RESTRICTER option and then choose the correct SUBMASK by .... SCREW IT WE'RE BACK. YAHOOOOOO!
