    The following are true:
    1: I am putting a 3" dropped axle into a 50 chevy half ton.
2: I spaced the steering box away from the frame 2" due to a sbc transplant to get room for exhaust manifolds.
3:When axle was dropped the distance between kingpins was reduced, not sure by how much.
4: Frame now prohibits installation of steering arm and draglink.
5:Tie rod will be flipped to clear springs.(this is not a problem)

    What do I do:
1: Bend draglink like so ~ in order to compensate?
2: Bend radius of steering arm to a tighter radius?
    3: combination of 1 and 2?
    4: your suggestion?
5: notch frame (don't like this one much seems draglink likely to bind)

    Help me please

would bending the pitman be better than bending the draglink. The pitman appears to be cast

is it ok to bend in place or should it be removed from the steering box?

take it off, you've gotta get it pretty darn warm to bend it, and it will cook the seal in the steering box

might do some research on bending steering parts properly, safety is involved!
