I have a stock 3 speed I am trying to reassemble. There is 2 rows of needle bearings and 2 thrust washers between the input and output shaft. I need help figuring out how the thrust washers go on. For example, is it supposed to be inner bearings then small washer then outer bearings then bigger washer or is it inner bearings both washers then bearings?

  2. Just put one together
    Hang on

  3. Needle bearings - smaller diameter washer, space, larger diameter washer then needle bearings.
    I think that’s it.
The snaller shorter needle bearings go in the 2nd row

Thank you for this! I have now completed the rebuild. Maybe now I can finally drive this old project. Baby steps
