Our club has been invited to show our cars at "The Field Where Robert Moss Played" (http://hauntedfield.com) this coming Friday night, Friday the 13th. Due to some poor communication on this guy's part, most of the club members thought this deal was a "NO-GO"; so many of them have already torn into their cars to start winter projects. Also, the weather's supposed to be pretty much shit, so some of the guys don't want to bring their cars in it. So far, we have TWO cars that will be there, and a couple of "depends on the weather", but I haven't yet heard back from a few guys in the club. I'd like to give the guy a little better display than that, so any of you that have HAMB friendly cars that would like to bring 'em out on a COLD, probably rainy, possibly snowy night, you're more than welcome to show 'em with the NIGHTMARES. The deal actually opens at 7pm, but we are supposed to get there by 6pm if possible. We will likely stay until 11pm or Midnight... If you come, you will get free admission for you and a co-pilot, you can go through the attraction(s) as often as you'd like. If you get there early enough and are a geek about this junk like I am, you can also get the "behind the scenes" access... seeing how they do their makeup, how they build/built their props, etc... Also, on Saturday, the "Gravedigger" monster truck and a Hearse-only club are going to be showing their stuff. Anybody that comes with us Friday can get back in Saturday too... If you do plan to show, dress WARM, as it's gonna be a low in the mid 20's, and we'll be outside for HOURS! So, who's interested and what are ya driving?
holy crap, it's in the 20's already in Michigan. just another reason I won't live in that god forsaken state. good luck getting some guys together.
if the weather is shitty on friday i should have the day off. if so the wife says hell yes. whats a little snow.
Ill try to make it out. A little rain and cold doesnt bother me. It will only stop me if its pouring. Cold is one thing, cold and soaked is another.
The shoe box will most likely make it out, since its white and needs paint, I plan on getting some fake blood and splattering it. the heat and the lights both work, only one at a time though or you'll kill the generator.....I could make some card board teeth from the deck lid and call it the "CHEWBOX" HAHAHAHAHAHA......okay that was gay, sorry
I will be there... but the Buick will not unless I happen to mention it to the wife and she happens to let me work on it all day today and part of Friday... not likely. Anyway, could be. The real question is if Joe will remember those hub caps...
