What happened to all the wild build styles and paint schemes from the late '60s, 70's? (And a little into the 80's) I love these style cars, and wish they would make a comeback!
I REALLY want to do a wild 70's paint job on something, just need the car to do it on. I guess I sort of have one if I wanted to really change up my Chevelle. The green vette at the bottom was one my dad had in the 70's. I grew up wanting something like that...
The guy that painted my vette is really good at that style of work. I gave him free reign on my hard top, he did lace, endless line, starburst and silver leaf but kept it fairly subtle by burying it in candy. It’s awesome!
This is the closest thing I'm ever going to have to one of those 70s paint jobs. I had it all covered up with primer and paint.
