I recently changed my original 4 bolt flange intake and teapot carburetor out for the ford style 3 bolt and a stromburg 97. What are you guys for throttle linkage? The issue I’m running into is that the teapot was a push style linkage and the stromburg has a pull style IMG_4913.jpeg IMG_4912.jpeg

You need to change the linkage to the linkage of a car that came with that carb, or make a bell crank to reverse the push to pull. Which may be easier.

I have the same problem. I'm about to order this for mine.

  4. Bill-Jerone adapter. A piece of 10 gauge or 1/8" material that drops the pickup point to below the throttle shaft. Your old carb will give you the position to go to. It doesn't take much and there is very little leverage pressure on that point. That looks like about a half hour job to me without removing the Carb. 2 little spot welds with the Tig machine would keep it in place. A Mig would do but then you have weld splatter around gasoline.
