Hot Rods Reviving my original ID and thread

After a long absence (medical) I returned to the HAMB and registered under a new ID. My original had been AV8, and I re-registered as mikebishop37. I was back for a brief time and left again for reasons different from the first. Those reasons no longer exist and I'm back to doing one of my favorite pastimes -- porting flathead Ford blocks! Add another favorite pastime -- motor journalism -- and I'd like to get back to sharing experiences with folks who understand what I'm talking about.
If possible, and reasonable, I'd like to revive my original thread rather than re-explain many things that are entirely new to many who have joined since I was last here and might find some of that info beneficial.
    Thanks for listening,
    AV8 aka mikeishop37

Why not just use your original ID? It appears to still be active, unless someone else hijacked it.

Is this you? (see your av8 profile below) Screenshot (227).png

  3. I would think one of the mods could get you back into your account, I mean you wrote the book that everyone still refers new builders to read to this day.

If you still have the same email address that you had when you first signed up you can simply follow the forgot my password prompts (assuming that you forgot the p word and that is why you changed?)

Have you ever done a flat head Caddy? I hope to do one in the near future, I suspect there is a great deal to be gained. What sorta flow gains do you see on the Ford.

    Welcome back Mike.
Your book with Vern Tardel helped me build a nice traditional flathead coupe. The stainless headers were inspired by "Old Bluey"
    Thank you!
