Picked up this cool 29 RPU HOT ROD.... WHATCHA THINK??? i DIG IT.. cool add to my fleet...
33 B motor and trans, quick change rear 8.90's and 500 16's on the tires...

 

Very nice, where do you keep finding these hopped up bangers?

 

I keep looking, this one had to go to chico to get 1300 miles, but had to have it...

 

I figured everyone knew this car... last owner had it 8 years in chico

 

What's, I say what's not to like? Worth the trip for sure! Are you going to leave it alone or are there a few small changes in the future?

first thing I did when I got it home was kicked bert & ernie to the curb,,,,

 

and primed the door...

 

next, my son and I fabbed up some seat mounts for the jeep wrangler low back buckets... super comfy seats for less than 200 each delivered to the door...

I like the seats. They look like they fit real good. Just like they were made for the RPU!

 

I bought them for one of my jeeps a few years back, I thought the backs were too short,.. perfect fit in the RPU

 

I dig it....looks like a blast.

 

thanks, we took it to the cars and coffee sunday, my son drove it so i got to watch it go down the road.. still healing from the last surgery so no stick shifts for awhile

 

I like it , Allot ! And I like the seats , nice fit and I might use a pair of those for my next project myself but in black .

 

yeah, I would have done black also, but the seat were sitting there begging to get in...lol

surprised no one has said, hey, I know that rpu,... I think it was built down in Tucson then sold and moved to chico 8 years ago...might have been new mexico or texas though...

 

I think the rims are about 2'' too wide in the rear?????? so probley on my next to do
