I got a few PMs yesterday after comming back in here and being more active.

I just was wondering how many folks from Central IL are on here and if we wanted to organize a 'get to know eachother' thing or something.

I'm from Northern Illinois also but will be moving to Central Illinois when my house sells. So I'll give you a shout when I'm down that way. But anyone in Illinois ought to be at the Pileup regardless.

I live in Lexington, IL, and work In Peoria. I'd be up for a get together some time...
I know of at least one other HAMBer in the office too... I am planning on being at the Pileup on Saturday.

 

I would love a central illinois get together. I am in Peoria also. I will be at the pileup this weekend too.

there are getting to be quite a few of us. I had a cookout for all HAMB'rs after the RockN'Rods show, it was a good time. I'll be at the Pileup. Chumly how long have you lived in Lexington? I used to live there about 10 years ago. Maybe this winter I'll call everyone out to help lift the body off the coupe or something

im from palmyra,mo just across the river from quincy, il (i work there). springfield is about an hour and a half from me....

 

Sweet! I know that the 'official' M&G is @ 2pm, I'll be one of the jerks in a volunteer shirt.

 

I'll be changing residences (still in Normal, love the return address too much!) and will be sure to have a housewarming/meet my neighbors party when that happens.

 

Frizby, the Cisco Kid, yngrodder, and I will be up at the pileup as well representin' the greater Cisco (Decatur) area and the 217, yo.

 

I'm in Peoria as well, and I'll also be at the Pileup. (although without a car )

Kamp, I know your pain. Well, except that you have a car, it just won't be there.

Just so you all know, I'll be hitting up folks within an hour of B/N for help/questions when I get a project. Sucks being over 30 with still limited car skills...

 

Champaign area here too. Won't be at the Pileup .............. working for a living sucks!

I've been living in Lexington for about 6 years now. grew up south of Bloomington in Heyworth... Give a shout, and I'm game for a night of wrenching. would love to get together with the locals...

 

Sweet! i only knew about three guys online from around here that I've managed to just miss a few times in real life.

My van will be in the camping area, I'll be sure to stock some Adult Bevervages for Saturday.
