Technical Ford flexplate: 302 - 157T 50 Oz??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alteredpilot, Jun 6, 2024.

  1. Anyone know if there is a Ford factory production 302 flywheel with 157 teeth and a 50oz imbalance? Or an aftermarket stamped steel unit? I'm having a hell of a time. I've tried two aftermarket SFI flexplates and they were both too thick and they jammed the convertor. I have a stock stamped unit which fits just dandy, but its a 28oz unit.

You need a flexplate from an 81-up 302/5.0 car with a C4. Not AOD or FMX. Possible candidates include Mustangs, Crown Vics. There might be "base" 302 F150s with a C4
