Just thought it was time to say THANK YOU! to everyone with a build thread. Just saw an update on two of my favorites that I follow. I'm dead in the water on mine until Labor Day, sure glad others are progressing. Bob

    Amen and Amen.

The build threads are my favorite threads on here. (There is lots of 'other' great threads, but build threads are the best!)

I wish there were more, but with the cost of building, I can understand why the numbers are lower than in the past.

And not just the cost. Other things get in the way of getting into the garage.

I think by starting a build thread it kind of motivates you to keep a project going and do the best work that you can if you are going to show it to so many experienced folks like we have here on the board. I personally get a lot of gratification from the kind words of encouragement that I have received when posting my projects.

I’ve had two build threads. One for my single seater and one for my father/son T roadster. the single seater thread was page upon page and was a feature thread the roadster is a bit slower. I don’t know if the total weirdness of the single seater made the thread go and go.

My thread has stalled a bit as I’m in paint jail. But, I’m getting paroled, the frame got released into my custody. Madness will resume IMG_3506.jpeg

    depending on where you start..
if you start at The Jalopy Journal,
    click More
    then click HAMB
    then under General Discussion
click The Hokey Ass Message Board
at the top of threads there will be pinned threads
it's the one titled Build Thread Index

Thanks Paul! Make finding easy reading easier. Wonder how a search would work to fine a specific build or builder. Bob

once you open the list they are organized by the year of the car that is being built.... Paul is a genius that way....
