  4. I have a friend that looks just like the guy in the passenger seat, hair, glasses, and beard.

I'm not a Brit car parts expert, but those look like jag or AH wires in front.
    More like Phineas, but yeah.

@Sky Six I really like the Black indoor show one, but this is something I'm kind of working out in my head on my build. The wheels, tires, stance and overall look says good things, it's really looking like a great example although unfinished. I'm taking nothing away from the builder, I dig it.
But the blown small block is going to be more than enough to roast the tires and be not merely overpowered, but grossly so. A single 4 barrel would be more in keeping with the whole balance.
I've got the same issue. A big honkin' engine in a little car, once the oversize rears are swapped out. It's a bit over the top, like those fairground cars with engines bigger and wilder than anything up to Pro Mod racers. It's the guy in regular casual clothes with a brand new Rolex. I am going to have to come to terms with this and plan on running something like a 10 inch wide rear to balance potential with pavement contact patch.

this reminds me of that time on a t-bucket forum when i tried to get across why i didn't want steam roller tires on a project where i was going to run a mild small block and single 4 bbl. it was bad enough i wasn't going to install an 8/71 blower and baffled zoomies but some there thought i was off my rocker. it's like they didn't know t-buckets existed before 1987. :)

My T had a 6-71 Littlefield on a small block, disc brakes all around, polished everything, 98 " WB. I come from the AA/FA school of thought. Thats me.
There is no right or wrong way to build a bucket. @Moriarity has customs, @squirrel has drag cars, but the key is that they are driven. Thats what is important. Stay the course with what YOU want. You will make adjustments to your thinking as you go along and when you are satisfied, go drive it.

As a postscript, it was sort of fun though to have mine sideways on Beach Blvd.

10x16(x31-33) was a favorite size in the mid/late 60s' n 70's. In the mid/lat 60's that size was the T.F. tire, so of course, everyone *needed* that size. :D . & it's still near-perfect sized - *if* you can find it. (Gauntlet thrown down! :D ).
