I have a Stewart Warner Wings electric speedo #482DP. Instructions have been lost on how to calibrate it. This is the one with the rocker switches in the rear.
Does anyone have any instructions?? I could not find anything with a search or Goggle.

    Thanks Ken.

Thanks Brandon, but this speedo has a row of rocker switches under a plastic window in the back. There is no calibration button or terminals to use.

Sorry, it's on the first page when you google it. Does it have the trans mounted magnetic sensor. The switches on the back are called DIP switches. It's a pdf file and has the instructions.

    Try 10000101 10100100

    Standard setting for 8000 pulses/mile

1 is up and 0 is down.

    This worked for mine.

I have the same speedo and I need to set it to 16000 ppm. For the life of me, cannot find the dip settings. Any help?

  9. Hi all. I’ve spent ages looking for the chart for older SW electric speedometer calibration. My Father in law had his paperwork instruction sheet from the speedo he bought in 1997 and that gave me more clues to google and just this afternoon I found everything I needed to know at Gilmore-Global.com

    http://gilmore-global.com/

This business markets lots of gauges and instruments

Look at the ‘catalogs and technical documents ‘

I found the sheet for setting the 16 switches in an early 2000s SW 160mph speedo.

I hope this helps someone out in the future. Keep on keeping on.
