Event Coverage Nostalgia Drags, Cecil County Dragway

I always enjoy looking at other people's event posts so I figured I would do one of my own. This event is always one of my favorites for the year. Cecil County Dragway is a real nice facility and they recently have been making improvements. The weather was perfect in North East Maryland and there were a lot of cool race cars and show cars in attendance. I get wrapped up in the action and forget to take pictures but here some that I got.

It’s a quarter mile track usually but it might be an 1/8 mile event

Great pix Violator, I was a 13/14 year old kid when we ran the MG at the Division 1 points meet there in the mid 60's.

Yes my friend Brian built it.

 

It was all 1/4 mile, seen a few 200+ passes from the funny cars.
