    Super nice score!

Come clean, where did it come from?

Sometimes, instead of being happy for someone, I have the uncontrollable urge to poke them in the eye...

    You have been warned...

  12. Nice find!

But hauling it home behind a minivan takes some of the "mean hotrod vibe" away.

Just when you think we have lost an old hot rodder to the Jockey Journal he does something stupid like draging an old car home. He thinks he got a treasure there but he didn't even get fenders or a hood. And we all know you can't build a hot rod without them:rolleyes: :D

I've known about this car for 30+ years....belonged to a highschool friend that is now in serious medical trouble. I heard from another friend that he was ready to sell it. I went to visit him last nite, and he set a price...I paid it.
I wish it was him finishing it, not me, but maybe the money will give him some comfort in the coming days. I hope to get it up and functional by spring and take him for a cruise, if he's able. My plans are for a drivable car with safety and no chrome or shiny paint.....Chopped of course, no fenders.

Wow Steve, awesome score. I just talked to Rich and he told me about it. Going to the pileup this weekend so I can't go to breakfast with you guys, but I'll be over next week to see it. I know Andria wan't to check it out too, her dad had a 3 window.

  23. Give me a break, if you were any kind of real hotrodder you could have had it done for the pile up, you have been slacking off way too much lately.
